The development strongly focuses on greening efforts. This includes making Wassenaarstraat car-free and Slagerstraat car-free, allowing greenery to dominate the streetscape. The urban design draws heavily from the original plan of the Gildebuurt, reintroducing features such as the central courtyard in Slagerstraat and reapplying some passages to the rear areas in a renewed setting. This reinterpretation of cultural-historical elements strengthens the neighborhood's identity and bridges the gap between the past and the future.
